WOW H Girth Collection

The WOW “H” Girth™ has proved to be a brilliant innovation for saddle stability without having to over-tighten your horse's girth. Pressure dispersal over the sternum rather than the pectoral muscles promotes better movement in front. Designed for use in conjunction with a Foregirth Attachment and/or a balance strap on your WOW saddle, a saddle can be held back in place on horses that would normally always push their saddles forward up the neck. While intended for use with a WOW Saddle, WOW's H Girth is perfectly suitable for use with any brand of saddle.

The straps of the H Girth are made of very thin but broad leather straps as it is meant to be used primarily on horses with a forward girth groove, which the girth has a tendency to creep forward into. These soft, thin straps act like a second skin, rolling with the skin rather than acting against it to prevent tearing or breaking the delicate skin behind the elbows. WOW H Girth Straps, WOW Soft Straight Girth, or the WOW Split Straight Girth can be paired with any of the WOW H Girth Sternum Plates.

To build your own WOW H Girth, place either two(2) H Girth Straps or one(1) Soft Straight or Split Straight Girths in your cart, then pick out your desired H Girth Sternum Plate. If selecting WOW H Girth Straps, you may choose to have both straps equal length, or two different lengths. It is more common to have a longer front strap in order to provide clearance of the buckle for the elbow; however, some people require a longer back strap in order to better fit very round horses.
